Blum Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager @ Risk by NC State University and is seeking to pre-qualify construction trade contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for Phase 4B of the University Towers Residence Hall project in Raleigh, NC.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: NC State is renovating the façade at University Towers student housing building and will be making repairs to brick façade during the summers of 2026, 2027, and 2028. Work will include erection of scaffolding around the building perimeter in preparation for exterior building envelope repairs. Each Summer will include erection and dismantling scaffolding sections per a phased logistics plan. Also included are sitework renovations to the surface lot and underground storm water piping. Interior renovations include interior patching and painting of walls and ceilings as well.

Principal trade contractors are solicited for the following bid packages:

Additional packages may be added and deleted by the Owner and Construction Manager.
