A/C JANITORIAL SERVICES - CARTERSVILLE

Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide Janitorial Services for Georgia Advanced Manufacturing Training Center to the TCSG - Georgia QuickStart (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP.

The Quick Start Cartersville Training Complex is located in a 133,949 sq. ft. complex of structures previously used to house the Cartersville Primary School. The buildings were constructed in 1975, and the complex consists of a centralized hub and multiple wings, as well as additional stand-alone structures. The Complex is being adapted for use as a technical training center by TCSG/Georgia Quick Start. The training will be provided to multiple companies simultaneously and will involve a wide range of technical sophistication.

The Complex will include offices, meeting rooms, technical labs, restroom facilities, breakroom spaces and a significant number of hallways and interior walls that are made of cinderblock with epoxy coatings. Technical labs will have a significant volume of motors, drives, work stations, parts racks, tables, power cords, etc. Networked wireless systems have been installed throughout.
Training activity mainly will be within traditional business hours, but it can be expected that demand for training services could require that the Complex will be actively occupied during some evenings and weekend, requiring efficient communication and scheduling to minimize disruption of training activity.
