Project Description: The Division of Contracts and Procurement has received a request to purchase from a “sole source” vendor. If, for any reason, any party does not agree that this sole source purchase is applicable, please email the contact person for Salt Lake County Contracts and Procurement Division prior to August 12th, 2025, 1:00pm MT.
The Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Unit is seeking to continue the its use of the FARO Scene2Go software. It is anticipated that switching to an alternative software would be far too costly for the County, as this would require the replacement of existing equipment and retraining of staff/personnel to utilize alternatives.
