Project Description: The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is soliciting proposals from qualified suppliers to provide repair and maintenance services for its hybrid bus fleet. The purpose of this contract is to ensure the continued safe, reliable, and efficient operation of approximately 108 hybrid buses currently in service. The selected contractor shall have the capability to service up to eight (8) buses simultaneously. Contractors must be located within a 25-mile radius of Charlotte, North Carolina, or demonstrate the ability to transport buses to and from their facility as part of the services provided. The scope of work shall include all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and technical expertise necessary to perform hybrid bus repair and maintenance services in accordance with CATS requirements.
