INVITATION TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Secretary, 1200 East Broad
Street, Mansfield, Texas 76063 until 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 19, 2026 and
then publicly opened and read aloud for construction of:
US 287 Crossing Sanitary Sewer Replacement
BID NO. 2026-40-10-01
A cashier’s check or acceptable Bidder’s Bond for 5% of the bid amount must
accompany each bid, as well as completed Verification Forms as required by state
law. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment
bonds, maintenance bond and insurance as detailed in the Contract Documents.
Computer-generated bids will be accepted as detailed in the Contract Documents.
The Contract Documents may be examined without charge in the office of the City
Engineer at the address shown above, and may be procured from the City Engineer
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A non-
refundable fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) will be charged.

Plans, Contract Documents and the Engineer’s Project Cost Estimate may be
downloaded or viewed free of charge by registering at this website. It is the
downloader’s responsibility to determine that a complete set of documents, as
defined in the instructions to Bidders, is received. Printed copies of the Plans and
Contract Documents may be purchased at the website. This website will be updated
with addenda, plan holders lists, bid tabulations, additional reports or other
information relevant to bidding the Project.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities.
