Ozone Improvements

The Town of Ashland, Massachusetts requests sealed bids for construction of the Howe Street Water Treatment Facility Ozone System Improvements. Bids will be received at the Select Board Room, Town Hall, 101 Main Street, Ashland, MA 01721 until 9:00 AM prevailing time, on Thursday, May 29, 2025.

Base Bid: The scope of work includes construction of a new ozone system including but not limited to the following equipment: liquid oxygen (LOx) storage tank, ambient vaporizers, ozone generators, chillers, destruct units, injection skids, and all associated valves, piping, electrical, instrumentation and controls. The scope of work also includes the demolition of the existing ozone feed system.

Bid Alternate A: The scope of work includes the demolition of the existing LOx tank, and construction of a new LOx tank, including all necessary site work, piping, valves, instrumentation, etc.

Estimated construction cost:  $4,250,000

All bids for this project are subject to applicable bidding laws of Massachusetts, including General Laws Chapter 149, Section 44A to 44J inclusive, as amended.

A Prebid Conference will be held on Wednesday, May 7 at 10:00 AM at the Howe Street Water treatment facility.
