SCOPE OF WORK Aluminum Material for Bulkhead/Sluicegate Fabrication at Lock and Dam 7U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District 1.General Description. The Contractor shall provide various shapes/quantities of aluminum material for the fabrication of a spillway sluicegate. This includes delivery to US Army Corps of Engineers Service Base in Fountain City, WI and Pleasant Valley, IA. 2. Aluminum Specifications. A. Must conform to Buy American Act. B. Must conform to ASTM B209/B209M and ASTM B308/B308M Alloy 6061, Temper T6C. Final product shall be clean and free of any oil or grease, dross, slag or burrs. D. All cut edges (regardless of method) shall have a surface roughness acceptable for welding.E. Final product shall be legibly marked with the applicable designation, grade, heat number, size and thickness, name brand, or trademark of the manufacturer for identification and shipment.F. Bundle and band the material required for shipping, with cribbing at minimum six inches above the base of the shipping platform to allow offloading with a forklift and/or crane. Covering of the material during shipment is not required.3. Sizes, Shapes: See SolicitationShipping Locations: See Solicitation. 4. Submittals The Contractor shall submit a verifiable mill certification electronically in pdf format via email to both the Government Contracting Officer?s representative and the Government technical point of contact prior to shipment of the material. The Government technical point of contact is: Available at the award.5. Delivery Location, Schedule, and POCs: Delivery shall be no later than July 31st, 2025. The soonest possible delivery is requested if possible. All material shall be delivered to the following addresses during business hours of 07:00 to 15:00, Monday through Thursday, excluding federal holidays. Please give the POC listed below 24 hours advance notice. The delivery location for each material is listed in section 3 of this statement of work.
