Grit Screening: Sludge Transportation and Disposal for Wastewater Treatment Plants

The City of League City is now accepting sealed bids for the Grit Screening: Sludge Transportation and Disposal for Wastewater Treatment Plants. Sealed bids must be received by 11:00 a.m., CST, Wednesday, March 18 ^th , 2026. The clock located at the front desk in City Hall will be the official time. Bids received after this deadline will not be opened and will be considered void and unacceptable.

There will be an optional pre-bid site visit for both collection locations on Thursday, February 26th, 2026 starting at 10:00 a.m. Please arrive on time. As a group, we will begin at The Dallas Salmon Wastewater Treatment Plant (DSSWTP) and then we will proceed to The Southwest Water Reclamation Facility (SWWRF). Do not visit the collection locations outside of this group and date.

The question deadline for this bid is Monday, March 2 ^nd , 2026, at 5:30pm and the final question addendum will be posted by Wednesday, March 11 ^th , 2026, at 5:30pm.

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following the due date and time at City of League City Civic Center, 400 West Walker, League City, TX 77573.
