Lakewood Civic Centre - Pre-Feasibility Study

The City of Saskatoon is seeking to retain the services of a Prime Consultant and team with demonstrated experience in natatorium design, construction, and operations. The City needs to create a strategic capital investment plan for the Lakewood Civic Centre facility, including project execution prioritization and a long-term projection for major operational needs, system renewals, and mandated upgrades. The plan should optimize project timing to minimize facility shutdowns.

This study will provide a comprehensive assessment to identify deficiencies, unmet code requirements, and other necessary updates to support both current and future facility needs. The study will support City staff in determining required replacements, repairs, and operational improvements, as well as identifying areas needing remedial work.

Work that requires access to normally restricted spaces is expected to occur during the planned pool maintenance shutdown period in August 2026.
