APPENDIX A. SCOPE OF WORK AND DRAWINGS
The Contractor shall complete the following in accordance with all local, state, and federal
regulations and requirements.
1.0 Preparation of Site
1.1 Pressure washing of all exterior surfaces to remove dirt, mildew, and loose paint
1.2 Scraping, sanding, or other means of removing peeling or flaking paint
1.3 Caulking of cracks and gaps as needed
1.4 Vehicles, landscaping, walkways, and surrounding surfaces shall be protected from
stains, blemishes, or damage. Any damage shall be repaired or replaced by the
Contractor at no additional cost.
2.0 Repointing
2.1 Rake out and repoint all joints as indicated in the attached drawings.
2.2 All masonry-related debris shall be properly disposed of prior to final acceptance.
3.0 Painting
3.1 Application methods shall be limited to techniques that produce a uniform, smooth,
and thoroughly covered surface.
3.2 All surfaces shall be primed with the appropriate Sherwin-Williams primer as
required by substrate and condition.
3.3 The product used to paint the exterior shall be Sherwin-Williams Duration Exterior
Acrylic Latex in SW7065 Argos.
3.4 All painting-related debris shall be properly disposed of prior to final acceptance.
4.0 Warranty
4.1 Contractor warrants the services will be free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of one year.
4.2 The warranty period begins once the District certifies final acceptance.

Liability limits can be satisfied with a combination of underlying and/or excess or umbrella
coverage. Please note, the above limits are the minimum acceptable to the District but may need to
be changed depending upon the specific requirements of the project owner.
Evidence of the above coverages must be supplied to the District within 10 days of being
issued a Notice to Proceed.

APPENDIX B. CERTIFICATION REGARDING LOBBYING

award documents for all subawards at all tiers (including subcontracts, subgrants, and
contracts under grants, loans, and cooperative agreements) and that all subrecipients shall

transaction was made or entered into. Submission of this certification is a prerequisite for making
or entering into this transaction imposed by 31, U.S.C. § 1352 (as amended by the Lobbying
Disclosure Act of 1995). Any person who fails to file the required certification shall be subject to a
civil penalty of not less than $10,000 and not more than $100,000 for each such failure pursuant to
31 U.S.C. § 1352(c)(1)-(2)(A).
