| Description: | Cape Fear Community College is seeking proposals from qualified Design Build HVAC teams to design and construct major HVAC Renovations for this building, located at CFCC’s Wilmington NC Campus. The Existing building is 7 floors, 114,000sf. Desired scope is replacement of VAV’s, hot water coils and control dampers on existing dual deck or multizone HVAC system on two floors of the building. Work to include DDC controls, hot water piping from building riser to VAV’s, grilles, outside air dampers and actuators, fire dampers and other required accessories. Upgrade air handlers from starters to VFD’s. Associated removal and replacement of ceiling grid and tile. One firm will be selected for the entire project. DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES AND HISTORICALLY UNDERUTILIZED BUSINESSES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY FOR PREQUALIFICATION EITHER INDEPENDENTLY OR AS PART OF A TEAMING ARRANGEMENT. |
