The University of Nebraska is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide all material and labor for the last phase required to complete the medium voltage distribution from a new stand-alone switchgear building north of the existing ceramics studio. The scope of Phase 3 involves the phased installation and connection of the medium voltage cable from the 15kV switchgear to owner-furnished pad-mount switches across campus; the cable is then connected from each pad-mount switch to the individual building transformers. This new work will be concurrent with the disconnection and removal of the Allwine switchgear and the existing medium voltage cable on campus. The duct banks, manholes, switchgear building, and switchgear are existing.
