The Missouri Wing Civil Air Patrol works through the Civil Air Patrol Headquarters (HQ CAP) Communications and Logistics contacts at Maxwell Air Force Base to source it’s communications equipment. Civil Air Patrol National Headquarters has entered into a contractual agreement with Ewing Engineered Solutions, a Motorola dealer to federal level government purchasers. As part of the contractual agreement, Maxwell Air Force Base purchases all the Motorola equipment through Ewing ensuring that the radio equipment purchased meets all the requirements of the US Air Force and Civil Air Patrol. In turn, Ewing has set up a system to deliver the equipment directly to CAP NHQ for loading of code plugs and encryption keys.
