Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

  1. A pair of Si 533 channel cut monochromators (2pc 1 Set) – QTY: 1







Quote is for product only; no on-site services permitted.





Technical evaluation criteria are as follows:




  1. Si 533 monochromator: The proposed monochromator must consist of two channel-cut monochromators. Dimensions must comply with the provided drawing, with a tolerance of ±0.05mm. The Reflective surfaces must be Si 533. The reflective surfaces are indicated on the attached drawing.

  2. Surface: The reflective surface must be polished to a high optical quality, minimizing roughness and defects. (Only the reflective surface need to be polished.) The reflective surface must be usable within 1mm of the edge.

  3. Expertise of offeror: The vendor must demonstrate prior experience in manufacturing high-precision silicon monochromators. The company should provide examples of past projects with similar specifications. Expertise in polishing and achieving high-quality optical surfaces is required.

  4. Delivery time and reliability: The company must provide a clear timeline for fabrication and delivery. They must provide technical drawings of the delivered product.

  • The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms and Conditions for Fixed Price Commercial Supplies and Services (Rev. August 2023) will be made a part of the resulting order.

  • Payment Terms will be NET-30

  • Freight terms will be FOB Destination Prepaid and Add
