2026 31st Street Sidewalk Extension Project

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 31st Street Sidewalk Extension Project, shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Marion, Iowa, prior to 10:00 AM local time on the 10h day of March, 2026, for work in accordance with the plans and specifications now on file in the office of the City Clerk. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above time in at, City Hall, 1225 6th Avenue, Marion, Iowa.

The general nature of the work on which bids are requested is: Installing PCC Sidewalk from on 31st Street from McGowan Boulevard to 25th Avenue on the west side of the roadway. Work includes intersection reconfiguration and patching including 386 SY of 6” Modified Subbase, 379 SY of PC Pavement, 684 SY of 4” PCC Sidewalk, 86 SY of PCC Driveway, 12 STA of pavement markings, and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances in accordance with the contract documents.
