This Request for Information / Source Sought is for commercial hardware and services. This announcement is for Market Research purposes only. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is conducting market research to seek sources and to gain knowledge on industry’s capability to provide hardware and services to support the USCG’s requirement for the replacement of the current Aviat (Harris) Constellation radio and Fujitsu Flashwave 4100LS Multiplexers in accordance with the draft Statement of Work (SOW), referenced as Attachment 1. The period of performance will be date of award – 12 months. This requirement is intended to be awarded in Fiscal Year 2025.

This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning/information purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Bid, Request for Quote, or Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice.

Responses will be utilized to determine what capabilities, if any, contract holders under existing Government-wide contract vehicles are capable of providing for the current USCG needs and what socio-economic category to utilize. Please note that while pricing is appreciated in response to market research, it is not required. Please also include your company's set aside category when you respond. This RFI is not to be construed as any definitive plan for the competition of this requirement. The Government will determine the appropriate acquisition strategy after consideration of the responses, the assessment of future workload, and additional market research.

Questions regarding the SOW and responses to this RFI may be sent to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist electronically to the below. Responses are due no later than 23 July 2025 at 1:00PM ET. All responses should include reference to any existing Government-wide contract vehicle and requisite contract # for the contract holder in response, if applicable.
