This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.

The Federal Government purchases billions of supplies, materials and personal property annually and must efficiently dispose of unneeded personal property on a continuous basis. The Personal Property Program within GSA oversees the reuse, donation and sale of Federal personal property in an effective and efficient manner. Federal customers utilize the PPM to dispose of their excess/surplus property as well as exchange/sale, seized/forfeited and others.

The sale of government assets must be conducted competitively in a manner that ensures full and open competition. Additionally, only warranted Sales Contracting Officers may conduct sales and award sales contracts to buyers. GSA is seeking the capabilities of industry to support certain sales-related activities.

It is anticipated any potential solicitation would require contractor support to achieve aircraft marketing and fair market value valuation services. Additionally, logistical services including aircraft movement, storage, facilitation of inspection, and other may be required.
