FY25 WRF PROJECTS - LINWOOD INFLUENT REHAB
CITY OF GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA
The City of Gainesville is requesting proposals for the FY25 Projects - Linwood Influent
Rehab. The work consists of the following major elements: Furnishing all products and
performing all labor necessary for the rehab of the influent pump station at the Linwood
WRF located at 500 Linwood Drive, Gainesville, GA 30501. The work will include the
demolition of a concrete baffle wall in the existing wet well, the construction of a new
baffle and divider wall with slide gates, the installation of a surge tank, construction of a
small compressor building, replacement of four 20" check valves, concrete repair inside
the wet well, DIP piping, and long-term by-pass pumping of active sewage. Beginning on
Monday, June 1, 2026, a copy of the request for proposal can be obtained, via email, from
the project manager at bfouts@gainesvillega.gov. A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference
will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Linwood WRF conference room,
located at 500 Linwood Drive, Gainesville, GA 30501. Proposals will be received at the
Department of Water Resources Administration Building, Engineering and Construction
Services Division, Attn: Barclay Fouts, 1st Floor, 757 Queen City Parkway, Gainesville, GA
30501 until 2:00 p.m., local time, Thursday, June 25, 2026.
