Effluent Trough and Baffle Replacement

Project Description: Sealed bids will be received online by the Upper Moreland-Hatboro Joint Sewer Authority (UMHJSA) via PennBid until 10:00 A.M. prevailing time Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud for:
CONTRACT 2023-24 – 1903N
TROUGH AND BAFFLE REPLACEMENT
The project consists of fabricating six new troughs and baffles, removal of the existing equipment from six Primary Tanks, and installation of new equipment. All bid documents and details are available at no cost at PennBid. Each bid must be accompanied by certified check drawn to the order of UMHJSA or a Bid Bond in favor of UMHJSA in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders.
All contractors and subcontractors working on this project will be required to comply with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act No. 222. There is a mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting scheduled for 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Questions can be posted on PennBid through 2 P.M., Friday, February 6, 2026.
Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants.
UMHJSA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
