This bridge is a vital component of our local infrastructure, and its replacement is essential for ensuring public safety and continuity of transportation for the area towns. East Main Street Bridge #31, located in East Hardwick, Vermont, was demolished in 2024 following damage from severe flooding events in 2023. The bridge previously served as a critical crossing over the Lamoille River, facilitating local traffic and connecting key areas within the surrounding towns. The Town has secured funding for this project through FEMA and aims to construct a resilient structure capable of withstanding future highwater events.
