Municipality of Jasper
The Municipality of Jasper is a small, friendly, and sustainable community set in the natural splendor of Jasper National Park. Following the 2024 wildfire event, the Municipality is implementing recovery initiatives to support business continuity and economic resilience for the community.
Project Summary
The Municipality of Jasper is seeking proposals for the supply and delivery of twenty (20) new (1-Trip) 20-foot shipping containers (sea cans) to be used in the Industrial Pop-Up Park development. This facility will provide temporary workspace for businesses displaced by the 2024 wildfire in Jasper.
The procurement includes:
· 10 Storage sea cans with basic modifications
· 10 Workshop sea cans with modifications including insulation, electrical, personnel doors, and interior finishings
The sea cans will be placed at the former RV Storage Lot adjacent to the Vet Clinic on S Block in Jasper. The Municipality has received funding through the PrairiesCan grant program to support this Commerce Continuity Initiative (CCI) in Jasper.
The Municipality reserves the right to award all units to a single vendor or split the award between multiple vendors based on best value. The Municipality also reserves the right to award all, some, or none of the units described in this RFP.
