The information received will be used within the Family Advocacy Program, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, to facilitate the decision-making process and will not be disclosed outside of the organization. The Fort Leavenworth, Kansas Family Advocacy Program is seeking potential businesses with the current relevant experience to provide training addressing all aspects of violence, abuse and trauma focusing on prevention and intervention responses that promote healthy responses to varied stressors. Topics of child abuse, human trafficking are to be covered to include workplace stressors dealing with professional burnout from good employees, and conflict resolution with de-escalation training.
Training is to eligible for continuous education units (CEU) for those in the Social Work profession.
Provider to present training over 6 days, 4 hours each day for up to 60 individuals. 15 people who have licensing credentials will be able to receive 24 hours of continuing education credits from 19-25 September 2025.
Day 1: ACEs, Child Maltreatment
Day 2: Corporal Punishment, Child Custody in High-Conflict Families
Day 3: Intro to Trauma-Informed Care, Vicarious Trauma
Day 4: Lifespan consequences of children exposed to domestic violence and abuse; Child Sexual Exploitation (Trends, Identification and Intervention)
Day 5: The Intersection of Sexual Assault and Intimate Partner Violence, Teen Dating Violence
Day 6: Working with Male and Female Offenders
