Quarterly NAPL Recovery and Semi-Annual Groundwater Sampling
The City of Winston-Salem seeks to engage a qualified environmental services company to provide
comprehensive air monitoring, environmental testing, and regulatory compliance services across City-
owned facilities. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting specialized assessments—including
indoor air quality monitoring, asbestos and lead-based materials testing, hazardous materials evaluations,
and other environmental investigations—as needed to support safe operations, facility maintenance, and
capital project activities. Services shall be performed by appropriately licensed environmental professionals
in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring the City receives accurate
reporting, timely guidance, and expert recommendations to mitigate environmental risks and maintain
compliance. Also, to serve as an advisor and assist with reports and communication with environmental
agencies.

This RFQ will in no manner be construed as a commitment on the part of the City to award a contract. The
City reserves the right to reject any or all applications; to waive minor irregularities in the RFQ process or
in the applications; to re-advertise this RFQ; to postpone or cancel this process; select and procure parts of
services; and to change or modify the RFQ schedule at any time.
