INVITATION TO BID: SPRING HOLLOW WTF TRANSFORMER PROCUREMENT
The Western Virginia Water Authority (Authority) (Owner) is requesting Bids for the following Project: Spring Hollow WTF Transformer Procurement Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at Roanoke Regional WPCP – 1502 Brownlee Ave SE, Roanoke, Virginia, 24014, until July 15, 2026, at2:00pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work: The Spring Hollow WTF Transformer Procurement project consists of furnishing a pad-mounted, liquid- filled, medium-voltage transformer and delivering it to the project site (6200 W. Main St., Salem, VA 24153).
Bids shall be on a lump sum basis.
Information and Procurement Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website:

Procurement Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. The designated website will be updated periodically with information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Procurement Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Procurement Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
Printed copies of the Procurement Bidding Documents will not be issued.

Bidders shall provide evidence of authorization to transact business in the Commonwealth of Virginia by providing the identification number issued to Bidder by the State Corporation Commission in accordance with the Code of Virginia § 2.2-4311.2, Title 13.1, Title 50, or as otherwise required by law. The Authority does not discriminate against a bidder or offeror because of race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, status as a service-disabled veteran, or any other basis prohibited by state law relating to discrimination in employment. The Authority does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia § 2.2-4343.1. A Bid may be withdrawn in accordance with the Code of Virginia § 2.2-4330 by giving notice in writing of Bidder’s claim of right to withdraw Bid within two business days after the conclusion of the bid opening procedure and submitting original work papers with such notice.
