It is the intent of this Request for Quote (RFQ) to obtain native plants maintenance service. The city has small areas of native landscaping throughout the downtown area, and hybrid (native and conventional) landscapes at key public facilities; these locations have been planted since 2020 and are currently maintained by city staff. These sites are described with brief landscape descriptions and locational information.
The following prices are lump sum and inclusive of everything required to perform the work per the specifications and requirements of this RFQ; including but not limited to: overhead, profit, overtime, taxes, fees, tariffs, mobilization, demobilization, travel, tolls, per diem, miscellaneous reimbursable expenses, waste disposal, labor, equipment, tools, and material. All prices must be FOB delivered to City of Groveland, Florida. Vendor is responsible for all freight and delivery costs, if applicable.
The quote shall include continued landscape maintenance of the sites provided here from July 6, 2026 through September 30, 2026. This work is needed to maintain plant coverage, improve floristic quality, enhance aesthetics at city-owned properties, and to ensure that these facilities continue to perform as water quality Best Management Practices (BMP’s) as designed.
All maintenance activities may include but not be limited to hand weeding, hand pruning, weed whipping, mowing, herbicide, replanting, erosion and irrigation repair, and any other identified work required to maintain or improve the existing plant coverage and floristic quality at each project location.
• Portions of the work will be within designated rights-of-way and may require coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation.
