Library Self-Checkout and RFID Equipment

This Request for Proposal (RFP) announces the intent of the County of Mendocino to purchase library self-checkout and RFID equipment.

The purpose of the RFP is to notify potential vendors that the bidding process is open for library self-checkout and RFID equipment and to establish an agreement with a qualified vendor.

Vendors must submit four (4) copies of their proposal:  three (3) complete paper copies with original Vendor signature, and one (1) complete copy on USB Flash Drive.   The proposal must be formatted in accordance with the instructions of this RFP.  Promotional materials may be attached but are not necessary and will not be considered as meeting any of the requirements of this RFP.  Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked “Mendocino County RFP No. 028-25”, and delivered through the front door and handed to staff by 7:00 p.m. September 25, 2025, to:

Late or facsimile proposals will not be accepted.  It is the proposer’s responsibility to assure that its proposal is delivered and received at the location specified herein, on or before the date and hour set.  Proposals received after the date and time specified will not be considered.  Note:  The unauthorized use of the County’s official logo is strictly prohibited.
