San Pedro Web-based Hydrologic Information Portal (WHIP)

The City of Sierra Vista is soliciting proposals on behalf of the San Pedro WHIP for a Web-based Hydrologic Information Portal.

The San Pedro WHIP was established in 2022, through funding supplied by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the Arizona Department of Water Resources, and The Nature Conservancy, and through the efforts of the Upper San Pedro Partnership (uppersanpedropartnership.org). The WHIP provides readily accessible, geospatially accessed, hydrologic information to water managers, decision makers, researchers, and the public through the synthesis of raw hydrologic data sets. Direct access to the raw data sets are also available via web links. It also provides data visualization tools keyed to a map interface allowing users to graphically view single data sets, side-by-side data-set comparisons, data overlays, and basic statistical analyses.
