Description
Department of Veterans Affairs
The Department of Veterans Affairs is considering awarding a succeeding lease using other than full and open competition for the Mutual Tower Office, an existing lease, located in Durham, NC Carolina. The current lease is expiring April 19, 2027.

Space Type: Administrative

All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Occupancy, the space is required on or before April 19, 2027. Lease term will be 10 years; 5-year firm fixed price with additional 5 one - year soft terms.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise, the department of Veteran Affairs intends to pursue a sole source lease acquisition with the current Lessor located at 411 West Chapel Hill Street, Durham, NC 27702.

The Department of Veterans Affairs will consider the cost of moving, tenant improvements, etc., when deciding whether the Mutual Tower Office should relocate.
