The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Grounds Maintenance Services, Thomaston Dam Unit, Thomaston and Goshen, CT

THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Provide all labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to mow and trim approximately sixteen (16) acres of fine lawn and spring/fall clean up on approximately sixteen (16) acres.

1. The services will be performed at the following locations: The Thomaston Dam Project is located off Route 222 on 331 Hill Rd, Thomaston, CT 06787.The Northfield Brook Lake Project is located off Route 254 on 1550 Northfield Rd, Thomaston, CT 06787. The Black Rock Lake Project is located off Route 109 on 350 Old Branch Rd Thomaston, CT 06787. The Goshen Radio Relay Station is located on Hageman-Shean Rd, Goshen, CT 06756

This is not a request for quotes at this time. The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about February 26, 2025. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Contract Opportunities website (www.SAM.gov).

This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.5 Million.

ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
