Description

This Sources Sought notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify commercially available water treatment system using Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) for which the system should be or is compatible with Calgon Carbon Corporation GAC system utilizing the specific carbon media F400 that has been installed to remove dissolved organic compounds to include taste and odor compounds, organic color, total organic carbon (TOC), industrial organic compounds such as Chlordane, TCE (Trichloroethylene), and PCE (Perchloroethylene) in drinking water at Naval Base Guam Potable Water System.



The information received will be used by Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Marianas to determine if another commercially available water treatment system using GAC meets the activity’s water treatment requirements. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing this information or any follow-up information requests.



This notice does not constitute a request for proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purposes other than market research. Furthermore, NAVFAC Marianas is not seeking proposals at this time and will not be accepting unsolicited proposals.



Respondents will not be notified of the results of the analysis. All data received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to properly mark the information provided in response to this Sources Sought as corporate or proprietary information. Since this is a Sources Sought announcement, no debrief, evaluation letters, and/or results will be issued to the participants.



Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be used to make appropriate future acquisition decisions. No telephone calls will be accepted. There is no request for proposal package or solicitation at this time. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made.



Interested sources are invited to respond to this Sources Sought by completing Attachment 1 - Company Information and Attachment 2 -Technical Information.



Responses to this Sources Sought are due no later than Friday, 21 February 2025 at 4:30 p.m., Chamorro Standard Time (ChST) and should be submitted by email to jamie.c.peightal.civ@us.navy.mil and doris.r.castro.civ@us.navy.mil.



Facsimile submittals will not be accepted. Responses received after the deadline or without the required information shall not be considered.
