SLCC Non-running JT15D engines for training purposes

Project Description: The solicitation will require 2 complete, non-running Pratt & Whitney JT15D engines intended for training and teardown purposes, including associated accessories where applicable. This requirement is intended to ensure that only training-appropriate units are submitted, and to avoid bids for operational, overhaul, or airworthy engines that do not align with instructional needs. This specific engine model is required to maintain compatibility with the existing instructional program, which is currently structured around the JT15D platform. Use of a different engine model would require modification of established curriculum materials and instructional delivery.
***Vendor-provided estimated lead time will be evaluated as part of the overall selection criteria and may be considered in determining the best value to the College. ITEMS ARE NEEDED BY 8/1/26.
The purpose of this solicitation is to solicit responses to enter into a contract with a qualified vendor to obtain the products and/or services listed for Salt Lake Community College. After reviewing the submitted responses, the College may choose not to proceed with the procurement.
