Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking to pre-qualify contractors to submit bids for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for the Wake Tech South Campus- Building C Renovation. We will be accepting pre-qualifications for upcoming bid packages for General Trades, Demo & Abatement, Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Casework, Waterproofing, Roofing, Fireproofing, Doors & Hardware, Storefront, Drywall, Ceilings, Flooring, Painting, Specialties, Signage, Window Treatments, Laboratory Casework, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Telecom, Sitework, and Landscaping.
This project will include the renovation of a 43,744 SF two-story classroom and laboratory building including MEP modifications/replacements, new finishes, structural steel repairs/modifications, building envelope upgrades, and minor site drainage & landscaping improvements. Similar project experience will be considered during prequalification. Bidding will be phased and is expected to take place from August-December 2024. Submittals for prequalification forms may be hand delivered, mailed, or submitted electronically. Deadline for prequalification is 10 days prior to Bid Date. The CM and Owner reserve the right to reject any and all Pre-qualifications. Contracting method will be through Competitive Public Bid in accordance with Chapter 143 of the NC General Statues.
