Radisson's Multi-Unit Housing Developments
Synopsis:

Call for Expressions of Interest

Radisson’s Multi-Unit Housing Developments

The Town of Radisson is seeking Expressions of Interest for multi-unit housing developments from reputable construction companies. Our “We’ve Got Land” Initiative is designed to support the transfer or lease of town-owned lands to eligible applicants at no cost. The Town of Radisson will make municipally owned land available to developers for a variety of housing types including apartments, condominiums, four-plexes, six-plexes, duplexes, and row housing, Radisson is located on the four-lane Highway 16 just 66 km west of the City of Saskatoon.

Radisson has already completed an inventory of available municipal land/lots (see attached map) and has given second reading to our new Zoning Bylaw that will facilitate as-of-right redevelopment for high-density housing. Through our “We’ve Got Land” program, the Town plans to engage the private sector by offering free land and $7500 per door financial incentives to reputable companies who would construct highly needed multi-unit housing types. Please note that there is a long wait list for housing rental units within our community. The Town is especially interested in the development of an apartment building and townhouses.

Viewings of the town-owned land will be done in person at a meeting held on Monday, June 30th at 1:00 p.m. Please register your interest by email at: tradisson@sasktel.net
