Description:
The National Research Council Canada (NRC) requires 16 high precision microphones to be installed in a sound transmission facility. The data acquisition system (DAQ) in this facility is an in-house system compliant with IEC 61672-1 with a high-end acquisition card allowing for high dynamic range acoustic measurements. Each of the two rooms requires 8 microphones as specified in the standards (ISO and ASTM) for a total of 16. It is absolutely necessary to purchase microphones that are compatible with the system but that have a high dynamic range, low noise (less than 19 dB(A)) and with diffuse field (random incidence) frequency response characteristics. IEPE (Integrated Electronics Piezo-Electric) also known as: ICP, CCP or CCLD operating on 2-20 mA constant current supply are needed since they are fully compatible with our current DAQ system and they meet the technical specifications listed above.
All the deliverables must be received on or before February 15, 2025.
