The Work consists of the following: • Replacement of one wedge-wire water supply intake screen (to be furnished by Owner). • Pre-construction mussel survey with relocation of federally protected mussels, if found (see Appendix A – M&R #4 for requirements). • Post-construction Neuse River Waterdog Survey (see Appendix A – M&R #5 for requirements). • Dredging in the vicinity of the intake screen to facilitate screen removal and replacement of the screen. • Hauling and disposal of the materials removed from the work area to an acceptable offsite disposal location. |
