Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified mechanical engineering firms to provide full mechanical engineering services under a continuing services contract. Services will support housing development, redevelopment, rehabilitation, and renovation activities at various BCHA properties throughout Boulder County. Mechanical engineering services are required to: • Evaluate existing mechanical systems and infrastructure. • Support feasibility analysis, planning, and project definition. • Design complete mechanical systems for new construction and existing buildings. • Support rehabilitation, renovation, and capital improvement projects. • Improve energy efficiency, system reliability, durability, and long-term operability. • Support compliance with applicable codes, standards, and sustainability requirements.

Background:
Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified
mechanical engineering firms to provide full mechanical engineering services under a continuing
services contract. Services will support housing development, redevelopment, rehabilitation, and
renovation activities at various BCHA properties throughout Boulder County. Mechanical

accessible or evaluated.

specified in the Schedule of Events. Boulder County will not accept any respondent’s
communications by any other means, except as specifically stated in this proposal.
Addendum:
At any time prior to the Close Date, Boulder County may alter, clarify, amend, delete or add to, in
whole or in part, any terms or provisions of this proposal.
In order to afford the Bidders a reasonable time for taking into account a material amendment
(the materiality of which Boulder County in its own discretion may determine) or for any other
reason, Boulder County may, at its own discretion, extend the Close Date.
