This project generally involves constructing a soil nail wall and anchored wire mesh to stabilize the slope below approximately 50 feet of the westbound lane of Fairfax Bolinas Road at Mile Post 9.73. Excess material excavated from the site will be taken offsite for disposal by the contractor. The construction can take place by utilizing the existing lane closure above of slope improvements, with intermittent traffic stops and one lane open through the site at all times. Construction will take place in the daytime hours.
