Invitation to Bid
Town of North Haven
Sealed bids for two (2) 2027 Ford Interceptor SUV 3.0L AWD Ecoboost Police Package,
Project No. 27-6 will be received by the Finance Officer, Memorial Town Hall, 18
Church Street, North Haven CT until August 27, 2026, at 10:00am. At which time and
place they will be opened and publicly read to all bidders. Specification may be
obtained from the Finance Office or on the town website www.town.north-haven.ct.us.
After bids are received the Director of Administration/Procurement may analyze
whether vendors have submitted comparable bids and meet the requirements called
for. In reviewing the bids, the Director of Administration/Procurement may consider
past performance and financial responsibility in conjunction with sales and service of
the vendors. The Director of Administration/Procurement reserves the right to reject
any or all bids, to waive any defects in same, or to choose to make purchases other than
strictly in accordance with price considerations, and/or to choose other than the lowest
bidder, if it be determined in the best interest in the Town of North Haven.
Bidders are advised hereby of the existence of an Ordinance concerning Bid
Preference for Town - Based Businesses.

General Specifications
The Town of North Haven, Department of Police Services (the "Department") seeks bids
for two (2) 2027 Ford Interceptor SUV Police Package vehicles. The manufacturer's
standard equipment for a 3.0 L Ecoboost AWD presumed to be included unless
otherwise specified.
Required options are as follows:
1. 4DR AWD Police .119" Wheelbase - Code K8A
2. 3.0L Ecoboost / 10 Speed Auto Transmission - Code 99C / 44U
3. Heavy Duty Cloth Bucket Seats w/Vinyl Rear - Code 9 / Ebony - Code 6

7. Deflector Plate - Code 76D

9. Front License Bracket - Code 153

Warranties
The successful bidder shall provide any/all available warranties that may be included
with the 2027 Ford Interceptor SUV Police Package vehicles and shall guarantee the
vehicle and all its parts for a period of no less than sixty (60) days after the delivery to
the Town of North Haven.

Note to Bidders:
1. Please indicate any and all substitutions contained within your bid and which
alternates or combination thereof are included.
2. All prices are to be FOB North Haven, Connecticut.
3. Delivery time may affect award of bid and must be specified in submitted bids.
4. Available manufacturer's service/operating literature and warranties are to be
provided for each and every component of this unit at the time of delivery.
5. The Town of North Haven will hold successful bid prices firm for a period not to
exceed 6 months from the date of award such that an additional vehicle may be
purchased under the same set of specifications and conditions.
6. Envelope must be plainly marked BID, with the purpose and time of
opening. Email your bid to dufour.ellen@northhaven-ct.gov by 10:00 am on
August 27, 2026.
7. Bids must be submitted on the bid sheet.
