RFP #2027-2000-0012 ABE Instructor

The Department of Corrections is soliciting proposals for an Adult Basic Education (ABE) Instructor that provides inmate students with foundational literacy and math skills at the pre-high school equivalency levels in addition to the education functioning levels and four subject areas of the GED. This service prepares the inmate students for community reintegration upon release by providing foundational academic skills leading to the GED credential. Students receiving these services will be afforded more opportunities for employment and be better equipped for attaining post-secondary education, addressing both their employment and education criminogenic needs.
