King’s Printer (KP) is the division within SNS that supplies, produces, and distributes high-volume regular and confidential documents within government. As established by the Communications and Information Act, King’s Printer has the duty of printing all official, departmental, and other reports, books, forms, documents, items and other papers as are required to be printed at the expense of the Province.
KP offers a wide variety of print products to its clients. Printing, both digital and offset, as well as signage and specialty items are all integral components of our product mix. The purpose of establishing this standing offer is to secure a variety of suppliers to meet our printing requirements.
Under the terms and conditions of the standing offer, these services will be accessed on an 'as requested' basis during the master agreement term. The successful respondents that are placed on the standing offer list are not guaranteed any offer of work. There is no guarantee that any minimum volumes will be reached through this standing offer. Respondents who meet the requirements for this RFSQ will qualify to enter into a Master Agreement.
In the event King’s Printer requires printing services from the standing offer list, KP will be required to conduct a second stage process. The second stage of the process includes issuing a Statement of Work (SOW) to invited respondents. The SOW will outline the evaluation criteria and will require the invited respondents to submit a response. The response, which includes pricing, will be evaluated at this second stage and selection will be in accordance with the criteria included in the SOW.
Printing Services are required for six (6) categories, see Section B.1.1 Service Requirements for details. Respondents will be required to select the category or categories their company can provide.
