VFD REPLACEMENT AND UPGRADE

The Town of Yarmouth invites sealed bids for the VFD Replacement and Upgrade – Septage Treatment Facility project.

Sealed General Contract bids will be received at the Office of the Town Administrator, 1146 Route 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664, until 3:00 PM on March 26, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The work includes the removal and disposal of existing variable frequency drives (VFDs) and associated control panels, and the furnishing and installation of new VFDs, control panels, electrical components, SCADA interface, wiring, programming, testing, and startup at the Town of Yarmouth Septage Treatment Facility, 47 Workshop Road, South Yarmouth, MA.

Bid documents will be available beginning March 12, 2026, at the Town of Yarmouth website: https://www.yarmouth.ma.us/bids.aspx .

A bid deposit equal to 5% of the Bid Price is required.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 50% Labor and Materials Payment Bond.

Prevailing Wage Rates apply.

This procurement is conducted in accordance with M.G.L. c.30, §39M.

The Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities if it is in the best interest of the Town.
