This is a competitive solicitation to obtain contractor services to respond, stabilize, and recover Library of Congress collections in the event of an emergency. The Library requires Contractor provided services for the stabilization (freezing, air-drying, minor repairs, etc.) and recovery (freeze-drying, mold removal, etc.) services for the Library collections in the event that the Library is hit by a major event that directly affects the Library’s collections (possibly in multiple storage areas in multiple locations).
The Library of Congress is soliciting a contractor to perform these services. See SF-1449 solicitation form attached to this notice for more information regarding the work to be performed, proposal submission instructions, and Library evaluation criteria. This notice services as the combined solicitation/synopsis for this requirement. The deadline to submit a proposal in response to this solicitation is 10/06/2025 at 3 PM EST.
Questions are due no later than is 09/18/2025 at 3:00 PM, EST.
This is a competitive solicitation to award one IDIQ for these services with a 5-year ordering period.
