Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Nicholasville, 517 North Main Street, Nicholasville, Kentucky 40356, for Street Resurfacing and Milling, until 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2026. All forms, information, and specifications are available regarding the bid, below or by contacting Camille Latham, Purchasing Agent, (859) 885-1121. The City of Nicholasville reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any minor informality in bids received.

CITY OF NICHOLASVILLE
STREET RESURFACING AND MILLING
* The City will clean streets and remove all cars.
* The City will furnish drop-in manhole extension rings and water valve
Extension rings.
* Contractor will be responsible for skin patching, if needed.
* All streets will be tact coated by contractors.
* When a street has been milled, blacktopping shall begin within 48
Hours and completed before pulling off job site.
* Contractor shall be responsible for all flagging of traffic and "Men
At Work", "Rough Street", "Danger", and/or other related public
Warning Signs. Signs are to be left up until job is completed.
* Contractor shall supply proof of insurance and a valid business
License before work shall start.
* Contract prices shall be valid until job is completed.
