King Conservation District seeks a qualified consultant to develop a forest stewardship management plan for Marine View Park (20935 Marine View Drive, Normandy Park, WA 98166) following and meeting minimum requirements of the WA State Integrated Forest Management Plan and using field assessment data, any additional necessary data from other sources, and Normandy Park’s provided goals and objectives for plan including:

  • A complete assessment of existing tree canopy and vegetation
  • High-resolution GIS-based maps and visual documentation
  • Evaluation of invasive species impacts and restoration opportunities
  • Identification of stormwater and erosion control benefits tied to healthy tree cover
  • Community engagement recommendations
  • Prioritized goals, timelines, and budgeting guidance for implementation
  • Recommendations for integrating climate resilience

The City of Normandy Park would like to prioritize the timeline and budgeting guidance in the writing of the report. The plan shall be completed by end of 2026.
