KING CONSERVATION DISTRICT – Request for Proposals for McAleer Creek (Willman) Restoration Project

King Conservation District (KCD) is seeking the services of a qualified contractor to complete the McAleer Creek Restoration Project. This Project involves the treatment and control of invasive holly, laurel and horse chestnut, Itadori knotweed, invasive blackberry, English ivy, and other pervasive weed species, installing erosion control measures, and planting of gaps and open areas (totaling approximately .55 acres) located in Lake Forest Park, WA.

We anticipate the project schedule to extend from Spring 2026 to Winter 2026-27 with monitoring and maintenance through 2028.

A pre-bid meeting is available Thursday, January 8 at 9AM at the Willman property (18024 29 th Ave NE, Lake Forest Park, WA 98155).
