The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking information to support its fleet of sixty-foot (60ft.) transit buses. This Request for Information (RFI) will allow the transit Authority to better understand the market for this technology. WMATA is seeking input from Bus Manufacturers of sixty-foot (60ft), Battery-Electric, CNG, Diesel-Hybrid, and Diesel low-floor buses. These buses will operate within the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Service Area.
