Performance Readiness Bar

The Performance Readiness Bar is a snack bar that is fortified with calcium and vitamin-D to promote muscle growth and create stronger bones in order to prevent injuries for personnel in training environments. The Performance Readiness Bar is designed to serve as a supplement to be consumed at night; the bar provides additional nutrients, specifically Vitamin D3 and Calcium, to the warfighter’s diet on top of the three meals to support vigorous training. It was introduced by the army in an effort to reduce the level of stress fractures and nutritional deficiencies.
