Project Description: Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing
Conducting Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to furnish labor, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals to plant 35,500 shrub seedlings in three different locations in Central Utah. Use the coordinates listed below to find the exact planting sites.
16,500 seedlings are to be planted at Santaquin WMA near Santaquin, Ut 39.911170, -111.813921
15,000 seedlings are to be planted at Sheepcreek near Spanish Fork, UT 39.985197, -111.337971
4,000 seedlings are to be planted at Spencer Fork WMA near Birdseye, Utah 39.81327, -111.51773
Total Shrub Seedlings: 35,500
For specific locations, see attached KMZ google earth files.
Mandatory Site Visit: A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. (This means that all three line items will be combined and the vendor with the lowest overall cost of three (3) line items combined may be awarded.)
Length of Contract: The vendor must start planting on October 20, 2026. They must have all plants planted before November 20, 2026.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing through the completion of the project
