Pre-Bid Conference:
A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference will be held July 31, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., at the City of Coweta, 310 S. Broadway, Coweta, OK 74429
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
The sealed proposal of each bidder shall be accompanied by a Non-collusion Affidavit, Business Relationship Affidavit, Experience and Equipment Questionnaire and a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bidder's Surety Bond in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required from each bidder to be retained as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails, neglects, or refuses to enter into said contract for the construction of said public improvements for said project, and furnish the necessary bonds within ten (10) days from and after the date the award is made.
Bids received more than ninety-six hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening.
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, his address, and the name of the project for which the bid is submitted. No bid will be accepted more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled bid opening. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed as specified in the bid form.
Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
