ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of Town of Christiansburg Wastewater Treatment Facility Digester Boiler and Heat Exchanger Building be received by THE TOWN OF CHRISTIANSBURG at the office of the PROCUREMENT OFFICER, until 2:00 PM local time on August 27, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The project consists of construction of a new prefabricated concrete building housing a new boiler/heat exchanger unit with digester gas piping and appurtenances, sludge piping, lighting, HVAC; site civil work including paving and a grading and buried piping installation; electrical, process instrumentation, SCADA integration, and piping and valve modifications in the existing Digester Building.

Sealed Bids must be received via in-person delivery, mail, or electronic submission through eVA, on or before August 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM, EST. If hand delivered or mailed, the time of receipt shall be determined by the time clock stamp in the Purchasing Office. If submitted via eVA, time of receipt shall be determined by the eVA submittal system time clock.

The Bidder must provide all exceptions to this Invitation for Bid in writing, to be included with the Bid.

An optional pre-bid conference for this project will be held on August 6, 2026 @ 2:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the Admin Conference Room (3
rd
